A quick, honest walkthrough of what your student can do, how it tracks their homework, how it helps them study, and exactly what you can see and control.
The actual dashboard - not a mockup
Your kid can start today, no account needed
They can jump straight into the games and a sample study session as a guest - no sign-up, no email, no personal info collected. It is a genuine "try it and see if it clicks" before anyone commits to anything.
Real homework becomes the quest
Once you link an account, the assignments your student is actually working on turn into a visual Quest Trail. Turning in work earns XP and Quest Keys, so the reward loop is tied to the real thing - finishing homework - not busywork inside an app.
The hard part gets explained in their language
When a concept is not landing, the "Oracle" re-explains it using something your student already cares about - basketball, a video game, wizards, whatever they are into. The goal is understanding the "why," not handing over the answer.
You decide when the games are open
You can lock the arcade during school hours (or any window you set), so game time stays a reward for studying instead of a distraction during class. This came straight from a real problem: a kid sneaking games at school.
You can see progress without hovering
The Parent Dashboard shows study streaks, XP over time, and a history of what they have been working on. Enough to celebrate a good week and notice a stuck one - without standing over their shoulder.
On privacy
Guest play collects no personal information at all. A signed-in account is created and controlled by you, the parent or guardian, and linked to your student's profile - the data is encrypted and never sold. See our full safety & data page for the plain-language version, or the privacy policy for the binding terms.
Questions parents actually ask
How much does it cost?
Guest play is free, and a linked account is free for 3 game plays and 3 study sessions a day. Premium is $5/month for up to 3 students - unlimited play and study, plus illustrated reward scrolls. See the full pricing page.
Do I have to manage everything myself?
No - your student can add and track their own assignments on the Quest Board. You set the boundaries (screen-time lockouts, subjects) and check in on the dashboard when you want to, rather than entering every assignment yourself.
Can I use this alongside their school's own tools?
Yes - it works alongside whatever your student's school already uses. You or your student enter the assignments that matter, and those become the quests; it doesn't replace or sync with any school system.
Ready to set it up?
Your student can keep playing as a guest in the meantime.
